Above decks this Greece, Athens based Lavezzi 40 continues the innovative design implementations. Most noticeable is the contoured cockpit area. A break from the standard rectangular cockpit seating, this sweeping design brings the bench forward and creates a passage aft of the bench. Exceptional mainsheet accessibility and separation from anyone lounging in the cockpit area. Open passageway from the cockpit to the swim platforms in each hull prevent the need to step over the cockpit coaming.

Below decks the main salon area has received the most innovative design input. The galley is to port and aft providing the cockpit and main salon area with direct access to the galley and the days meal either inside or out. The sliding glass door reveals a counter in the cockpit area accessible directly from the galley countertop area providing storage and serving space while dining in the cockpit. Enhanced storage for place settings, serving platters and staple goods is noticeable when preparing meals. The galley location enables a greater area for the main cabin salon table and bench seating. Room for up to 8 is possible with this new configuration. The main cabin also provides a new nav station configuration joining the instrument panel for a more ergonomic combination. The cabin areas have been reconfigured for more livable space. The aft engines have been installed in the aft holds which are independent from the cabins thus eliminating any noise or odors from the engines themselves. The heads in each hull are identical with large area, shower and port/escape hatch inboard.

This Greece, Athens based Lavezzi 40 can comfortably accommodated six people, in private double oversized cabins. There is space for two extra in the salon berths. There are two heads with hot and cold showers, one in each hull. As this is the owners version, this Lavezzi 40 has more salon, cabin and head space than the charter version.
